once after carrying an elderly lady’s groceries for her from Giant Eagle to that condo-type thing on Beacon, she told me that i was “such a nice young Gentile, not like the others…”
i darn near peed myself giggling.
i have some friends that are jewish. one day, knowing that i am a junkie for sweets, especially chocolate cake with tons of icing, they stopped by with a cake box. i almost fell on the floor laughing when i opened it up. it said happy bar mitzpah(i probably spelled it wrong!)harry. hey, worked for me!
